The minister, of the (Supreme Federal Court), asked on Monday (15) explanation to the Penal Police on the delay in the exit of former president () from DF Star Hospital in Brasilia, on Sunday (14).
Shortly after leaving the hospital, Bolsonaro was stopped for about six minutes beside the car. He was still while his doctor Claudio Birolini explained the medical procedures for which the former president was submitted.
During this time, supporters shouted supporting words around Bolsonaro, filming his cell phone. Shortly after Birolini’s speech, the doctor and the former president got in the car and left the scene.
In this Monday’s order, Moraes calls for details of the procedure adopted by the Penal Police in the case.
“Official to the Federal District Penal Police so that, within 24 (twenty-four) hours, send to the case file a detailed report on the escort, with information from the car that transported the custodian, agents who accompanied him in the room and the reason for not being carried out immediate transport shortly after the medical release,” he says.
The former president went to DF Star Hospital on Sunday to do a medical procedure. He withdrew some spots to check for possible skin cancer. Other tests performed by Bolsonaro also detected an anemia due to lack of iron and a picture already in the final stages of pneumonia.
Claudio Birolini, a doctor who follows Bolsonaro’s health, said the former president underwent routine exams. “He is a 70 -year -old man who has undergone several surgical interventions. He is very fragile for this whole situation,” he said.
Former President’s allies cite health as an argument for him to serve a sentence at home after conviction for attempted coup d’état, and, as revealed the Sheethis lawyers intend to argue risks if he is obliged to serve the sentence in a prison or the PF (Federal Police).
The former president is panicked with the possibility of being sent to a cell from the Papuda Penitentiary Complex, according to allies. He is afraid to get sick at the place and have no appropriate medical attention, or to be poorly treated by other prisoners with whom he eventually has to live.

Bolsonaro went to the hospital under strong police escort and welcomed by about 20 militants. Eight skin lesions were removed, so that laboratory tests identify if they are the result of any disease. The lawyers’ request says that a “melanocytic nevo” was identified, a normally benign skin spot, and an “uncertain behavior neoplasia”, a defined nature -free injury that would need removal for analysis.
The medical bulletin does not indicate when the result will come out, but informs that Bolsonaro should continue with the treatment of hypertension, reflux and preventive bronchoaspiration measures.
