“I can only think about what this means to women, malnourished children, people with disabilities,” Volker Turk told Reporters in Geneva

The UN Chief Human Rights asked Israel to interrupt immediately, saying that evidence of war crimes, crimes against humanity and possibly others were accumulating.

“I can only think of what this means to women, malnourished children, people with disabilities, if they are attacked again that way. And I have to say that the only answer is: stop with the carnage,” Volker Turk told reporters in Geneva.

“Palestinians and Israelis cry out for peace. Everyone wants an end to it, and what we are seeing is a new climb that is total and absolutely unacceptable,” he added.
