ΗΠΑ: Απαγγέλθηκαν κατηγορίες στον δολοφόνο του Κερκ- Αντιμέτωπος με τη θανατική ποινή

A few minutes after him, a 71 -year -old man shouted to police that he was the perpetrator, but later explained that he had falsely confessed to help the real killer escape.

According to NYTs, George Zin, a political activist, was arrested with the suspicion of obstructing justice, with police declaring that he had delayed the search for the real perpetrator by the researchers.

Zin was one of two people who had kept for questioning on Wednesday after the assassination of Kerk. Later, they concluded that neither of them had a involvement in the murder, and on Thursday they arrested 22 -year -old Tyler Robinson with the suspicion of the murder.

Michael Datson, a police officer at Utah Valley University, where the armed attack took place, wrote that Zin approached him a few minutes after the attack and said, “I shot him, now shot me.”

Zin “said he did so to distract from the real perpetrator,” the police wrote in his affidavit, and later said he was happy to have falsely confessed “so that the real suspect had time to escape”.

A video published on social media showed the police accompany Zin away from the university, where the murder of Kerk took place.

Zin is well known to the organizers of public events in Salt Lake City. He often appeared in public forums, with a sloppy appearance, and in order to interrupt the event or to challenge a distinguished speaker.

It also maintains a history of micro -controls, including an arrest in 2013 to send a threatening email to the organizers of the Solt Lake City Marathon, just days after the bombing on the Boston Marathon.
