Vegetable pies are becoming more and more popular as a tasty alternative to traditional meat pies. They can be prepared from various vegetables – carrots, lentils, pumpkins, beets, zucchini or mushrooms. Often, they are also enriched with grains, nuts and herbs that give them a delicious taste.
Zucchini pate and mushrooms come out extremely juicy and fillingand its delicate aroma turns up a special mix of spices. It works great both cold – as a tasty snack, as and hot – served with the addition of sauce or vegetables as dinner. It is an ideal solution for people looking for light but nutritious dishes that can be easily prepared at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 medium courgettes,
- 2 onions,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- carrot,
- 450 g mushrooms,
- 150 g of cheese,
- 5 eggs,
- 200 g of semolina,
- 150 ml of milk,
- a teaspoon of honey,
- 2 teaspoons of lovage,
- a teaspoon of sweet pepper,
- a pinch of nutmeg,
- salt, pepper, chili (to taste),
- clarified butter (for frying).
Method of performance:
Grate the zucchini on large grater mesh. Salt and set aside for 15 minutes.
Peel the vegetables. Cut the onion into cubes. Chop garlic. Grate the carrots on large grater mesh. Wash the mushrooms and cut into slices.
Heat 1-2 tablespoons of clarified butter in a frying pan. Fry the onion on it. Add carrots and garlic, and when the carrot softens, add mushrooms to the pan. Fry until the mushrooms are browned. Season the contents of the pan with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Cool
Drain the zucchini of excess water. Connect in a large bowl with the contents of the pan.
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl – start on large mesh grater cheese, eggs, cereal, milk and honey. Add lovage and sweet peppers. Make ingredients with a hand to a homogeneous mass. Season to taste with salt, pepper and chili.
Liberate and sprinkle with breadcrumbs 30 cm long. Transfer the mass to it.
Put in the oven preheated to 180 ° C. Bake for 80 minutes.
