David Belfort, 19, made history by becoming the first Brazilian quarterback at an elite conference of US University Football.
In an exclusive interview for the CNNthe athlete shared his impressions of the magnitude of the sport in the American university scenario.

“Football in college is very, very big here in the United States. It’s almost larger than NFL. Many people like to watch more College than NFL,” the athlete said.

“I learned a lot from quarterback there. It was a very good year for me to learn, to see,” he explained.
