Σκηνές χάους στη Βουλή της Αλβανίας: Πέταξαν βιβλίο και μπουκάλι στο Ράμα λόγω της «Ντιέλα»

Tension, episodes and unprecedented scenes unfolded in her House, where the opposition has disapproved, even launching objects to the Prime Minister and the government. The climax was the throwing of the Parliament’s regulation and a bottle of water to Rama himself and the new Speaker of Parliament, Nikos Pelessi, while the electronic vote was held.

The cause of the tension is Diela, the first robot with a minister for the audit of public procurement. In particular, the prime minister stepped up to present the program, but the tension escalated after Diela was placed.

The opposition reacted, which led to a fifteen -minute interruption of the meeting.

The Socialist Party has warned that the program would not be presented and no discussion will be held, but will be put forward directly. Following the reopening of the plenary, Parliament Speaker Nikos Pelessi put the program in a vote, which received 82 votes in favor.

During the electronic voting, Democratic Party MPs approached the positions of ministers and threw the House of Representatives as well as a bottle of water to Rama and the new President of Parliament, Nikos Pelessi.

Just 25 minutes lasted the meeting

It was the first time a government program was not presented to the Members and was not discussed, but was directly put into vote. The meeting lasted only 25 minutes, although it was scheduled to last 25 hours and to have an extensive discussion.

After the meeting, Rama wrote on Facebook that elected MPs should be able to discuss in parliament seamlessly. He stressed that the 83 seats that won the Socialist Party in the May 11 elections are an obligation to voters “to set an insurmountable limit to anyone who uses his hands, legs, legs as an argument and his noise in the hall of Parliament.”

In a brief position in Parliament, before the tension erupted, Rama noted that his fourth term coincides with Albania’s integration plan into the European Union.
“Albania of 2030 in the EU is the title of this term. European Albania is the compass that guides every page of our program and the metronome at the pace of any reform we will undertake, “Rama said.

Tirana aims to join the EU by 2030. Albania opened the first chapter of accession negotiations in October 2024
