The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, has warned that another 60,000 million dollars (just over 50,000 million euros) will be necessary to vote the war in 2026, a figure that is in charge of the state’s own coffers, as he told the media in an act that has had the presence of the president of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola. Zelenski has estimated at 120,000 million dollars (101,000 million euros) the annual cost of the war, of which half come from the Ukrainian budget. “We have to find another 60,000 million next year,” he said. “I hope we finish this war, but in any case, Plan A is to finish it. Plan B are 120,000 million. Therefore, this is a great challenge,” a Zelenki reiterated, which is confident that in peacetime, or even for a high fire, it is not necessary to reach these figures.
