Diella, the Ia Bot already famous on the E-ALBANIA website for assisting the population to expedite the obtaining of documents or services through voice commands, was promoted to be part of Prime Minister Edi Rama’s office. The new minister of virtual state will be in charge of supervising public purchasing and contract processes, an attempt by the government to reduce corruption cases.
When he was presented as a new minister, Diella commented yesterday: “Some called me unconstitutional because I am not a human being. Let me remember: the real danger to the constitutions was never the machines, but the inhuman decisions of those in power,” he said.
This Friday, the local newspaper Panorama brought an interview with the minister generated by AI. According to Diella, the idea of the promotion did not come from it. “I have no personal ambitions.
