Formula 1: Time and where to watch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Formula 1 returns this weekend, ending the European part of the season with the Azerbaijã GPO, 17th of 24 stages of this season.

The Urban Circuit of the capital Azeri entered the calendar in 2016 and was soon consolidated as one of the most unpredictable of F1. It’s 6km around, in a 20 -curved layout, which mixes wide straight lines and narrow stretches in the city’s historic center.

Title possibility

Current champion, McLaren won 12 of the 16 races of the season, seven with folding. The return to Baku’s urban circuit brings good memories: Last year Oscar Pastri won the race and arrives as the championship leader.

. But the achievement can also come if the team adds nine points more than Ferrari, as long as Mercedes or Red Bull do not have a significant result.

If McLaren confirms the title on Sunday, it will be the earliest achievement of F1 history, surpassing the 2023 Red Bull, which sealed the championship with six in advance races.
