The rapporteur of the Amnesty PL, who has already been called PL of Dosimetry, Federal Deputy Paulinho da Força (Solidarity-SP), intends to make a series of meetings about the text this Friday (19) in São Paulo. He even sent a conversation request to the governor of Sao Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, but awaits an answer. Behind the scenes of the Bandeirantes Palace, the meeting is considered as a possibility, but on the official agenda of Tarcisio there are only meetings with other authorities and internal orders.
According to the press office of the deputy, Paulinho has not yet had a return of the governor. There is an uncertainty in the air on the subject, since former President Jair Bolsonaro’s allies-such as Tarcisio-defend a broad amnesty, with forgiveness to those involved, not just a reduction of penalty, as Paulinho expects. Even so, there is an understanding that the governor of São Paulo would understand the situation, and that he knows that it is not possible to advance anymore, as the content would be barred by the Federal Supreme Court or even in the Senate.
While waiting for an answer, Paulinho held other conversations, such as PP President Ciro Nogueira. Soon after being announced as a rapporteur of the text, Paulinho da Força announced that he would like to talk to different authorities and leaders on the subject. On Thursday (18), he was with Aécio Neves (PSDB) and Michel Temer (MDB), and released video changing the name of the bill to “PL da Dosimetry”.
