“The situation is very bad. Throughout the night, the tank was firing projectiles,” said Palestinian Toufic Abu Mouawad, who left a camp for the displaced people with nowhere to go. “I want to escape with boys, girls and children. This is the situation we are living in. It’s a very tragic situation. We appeal to all Arab countries and people who have a good conscience to join us.”

The Israeli forces control the suburbs of the east of the city of Gaza and, in recent days, have attacked the areas of Sheikh Radwan and Tel Al-Hawa, where they would be positioned to advance over the central and west, which houses the majority of the population.

Gaza’s health authorities said 33 Palestinians were killed in the last 24 hours.

On Thursday, Israel’s defense forces (IDF) said they believed that 350,000 people have left the city of Gaza since early September and that about 600,000 remained.

Satellite images of 18 September, analyzed by Reuters, show new tents emerging in the areas south of the city of Gaza after September 5. They also show crowds of people on Al Rashid road and what appear to be vehicles on Salah Al Din road.

In leaflets launched over the city of Gaza, the Israeli military told the Palestinians that they could use the newly keen Road Salah al Din to escape south.

IDF said an air strike killed Mahmoud Yusuf Abu Alkhir, identified as Deputy Chief of Hamas Bureh’s Military Intelligence. IDF stated that he had participated in “terrorist attacks against Israeli troops and the state.”

Hamas, Palestinian group in Gaza, triggered the war when he attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 to Gaza as hostages, according to Israeli data.

Families of the surviving 20 hostages have begged Netanyahu who interrupts the offensive and negotiate a ceasefire with Hamas to free his loved ones.

Dozens of protesters gathered on the Israeli side of the border, asking for the end of the war. They held lanes or signs with slogans that included “stop genocide in Gaza” and “libertem Gaza, Islem Israel.”

In almost two years of fighting, Israel’s fierce offensive killed more than 65,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health authorities, and demolished most of the small enclave structures, which is now hungry dominated.
