A federal judge on Friday Donald Trump’s 15 billion dollar lawsuit against the defamation against the New York Times rejected. The judge Steven Merryday said that Trump had violated a federal procedure that he had to briefly and clear why he was entitled to compensation, and that a lawsuit is not a “public forum for mowing and insults” or “a protected platform to betting against an opponent”. Merryday gave Trump 28 days to submit a changed lawsuit. (Reuters, September 19, 2025)
