Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, said on Saturday that the country would overcome any repositioning sanctions through the so -called Snapback process, after the UN Security Council voted not to permanently suspend sanctions against Tehran.
“Through the snapback, they block the road, but it’s the brains and thoughts that open or build the road,” Pezeshkian said in comments broadcast on state television.
“They can’t stop us. They can attack our Natanz or Fordow (US and Israel -attacked nuclear facilities in June), but they don’t know they were humans who built and rebuild Natanz,” said Pezeshkian.

The security council measure was taken on Friday after the United Kingdom, France and Germany launched a 30-day lawsuit last month to repay sanctions, accusing Tehran not to meet a 2015 agreement with the world powers to prevent the country from developing a nuclear weapon.
Iran denies having any intention in this regard.
“We will never surrender in the face of excessive demands, because we have the power to change the situation,” said Pezeshkian, according to state media.

The Snapback process would rejoin the UN sanctions on Iran unless there is agreement on a postponement between Tehran and the main European powers in about a week.
The Iran’s Supreme National Security Council warned separately on Saturday that the country’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency would be “actually suspended” if the UN sanctions were restored.
