Debuting in the terror genre, the actress Klara Brown24, star in the Brazilian film “Soul Pattering”who hit theaters last Thursday (18).
HAS CNNKlara Castanho described the experience as a true discovery to her as an actress.
“I started to challenge myself in a very new place, not only as an actress, but also in relation to audiovisual. We are finding out how to do. Everything that generates challenge, I’m always very in favor, and I think it’s the case. We still have a long way to go, but it makes me very happy to be part of this walk.”
In the movie, young witches decide to travel to witness a supernatural ritual, and end up getting involved in a plot of life or death during a solar eclipse. However, a creature of another dimension is evoked and they are forced to make a terrible decision between life and death.
According to the artist, the dive in this genre ended up influencing even its entertainment consumption.
“The movie ended up opening my head to the mystic. After recording, I started watching a lot more thrillers and police investigative series. Before I avoided, because I was always resistant to be afraid, it was a little frightened. But the experience gave me a larger opening. It’s like a new house inside me.”
Klara Castanho also commented on her inspirations for the role. “I really wanted to understand the system of what we were telling,” he said, talking about the classic feature film “Abracadabra”. “I watchi ‘and bruxa’ Also, who already has a little more of the tension and this mysticism behind this figure, “he added.
