The Planalto Palace has not yet swallowed the fact that three alternates of ministers exercising federal deputy mandates in the House voted in favor of last Wednesday (17).

Allan Garcês (PP-MA), who replaces (sport); Pastor Cláudio Mariano (União Brasil-PA), in the vacancy of (Tourism); and Ossesio Silva (Republicans-PE), alternate (ports and airports).

For the government’s core, there was omission of the ministers in trying to convince their respective alternates of the importance of being against the text. The rejection of amnesty for condemned scammers is a point of honor for President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, who did not hide the irritation with the fact.

From the trio of ministers, two are expected to leave the government soon, pressured by their parties: while Fufuca has until the end of the month to deliver the position. Costa Filho, on the other hand, tends to stay until the timeless period in April next year.

In the interpretation of the Planalto, this situation may have led the ministers to do “soft body”.

An interlocutor states that, curiously, former communications minister Juscelino Filho, also from União Brasil, endeavored much more to help the government in the vote than current ministers. He left office in April after being denounced by the Attorney General’s Office.
