Secretary of Urban Security of the City of, Orlando Morando defined as a “common displacement” the action of two cars of GCM (Metropolitan Civil Guard) generating moment of tension.
The demonstration was already heading for the end when the vehicles slowly advanced through the area in front of the MASP where the sound truck of the act was. At that time, the federal deputy Orlando Silva (PCdoB-SP) spoke. He and other organizers asked protesters to calm down and not to provoke.
The cars ended up moving away without a more severe incident, only with curses from those present in the demonstration.
The GCM is linked to the mayor of São Paulo, (), who was the target of profanity several times in the act.
To the panel, Morando said he did not receive any complaints from the organizers about GCM’s behavior. “We have a strong staff in Paulista with the safest São Paulo operation that has given great results. It is a common displacement,” he said.
