São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and other capitals recorded demonstrations this Sunday (9/21) against the Armage PEC and the amnesty for former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
In São Paulo, the monitor of Cebrap’s political debate and the NGO More in Common calculated the presence of 42,400 people on Paulista Avenue.
For comparison, at the demonstration of September 7 at the same place, called by Bolsonaro supporters in favor of the amnesty, 42.2 thousand protesters were counted, according to the same monitor.
In Rio de Janeiro, the act was marked by a concert by Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil and Djavan, who joined Caetano Veloso, at Copacabana Beach.

The monitor accounted for 41,800 people, compared to 42,700 on September 7.
In Brasilia, the demonstration took place in the morning, concentrating in front of the National Museum of the Republic and march until the nearby Congress.
The PEC of Armage, or PEC of prerogatives, was approved in the House of Representatives last Wednesday (17/9), but still needs to go through the Senate.
The chairman of the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) in the Senate, Otto Alencar (PSD-BA), told GloboNews on Sunday that he intends to put PEC from the armor on this week’s agenda.
“[Vou pautar] To bury this subject in the Senate, ”said Alencar. The senator called PEC as a” punch in the belly and slap in the voter’s face. “
According to the senator, there is an articulation in the Senate for the proposal to be rejected, both in the CCJ and in the plenary.
