Man is convicted of Trump’s assassination attempted golf field in Florida

Ryan Ruth was considered guilty on Tuesday (23) for the attempted murder of US President Donald Trump, in a golf course in Florida in September 2024.

Reth, a 59 -year -old contractor, may take life imprisonment for the accusation. He was also convicted of assaulting a federal agent and several firearm -related crimes.

The crime occurred when Ruth was caught by a secret service agent hidden in a shrub area at Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach, armed with a semi -automatic rifle with the serial serial number. The agent fired at him, who fled without retaliation, being captured about 45 minutes later on a road.

During the trial, the defendant chose to defend himself alone without a lawyer.

The jury, consisting of 12 people, listened to testimonials from various federal agents and experts, who presented evidence such as Reth’s rifle’s fingerprint and records showing his president’s monitoring, including online search and vigilance of Trump’s private plane.

A letter left by Ruth was also displayed in a box at a friend’s house, which he admitted to the attempted murder and offered a $ 150,000 reward to kill the president.

During the trial, federal prosecutor Christopher Browne said Rout was “just one shot to kill Donald Trump.”

Already the defendant denied intending to kill, claiming that he never pulled the trigger and that he had no capacity to hurt someone else.
