Private higher education institutions that are interested in participating in the process of providing remaining vacancies of FIES, Student Financing Fund, for the second half of this year, are expected to fill information about the courses from October 1 to October 8. 
The procedure should be performed through the FIES computerized system, on the FIESGESTAO.mec.gov.br website.

The announcement was published by the Ministry of Education in the Official Gazette on Monday.
The period for rectifying the participation term will be from October 9 to 14.
To participate in the announcement, institutions must have a term of adhesion to the FIES and the valid Fies Guarantee Fund. In addition, the courses offered must have a positive assessment at SINAES, the National Higher Education Evaluation System.
The Ministry of Education should publish another notice regarding the occupation of vacancies from October 14.
