Tara Reed, an American who, during the 2020 election campaign, accused him of almost thirty years earlier, received Russian citizenship today, according to a decree signed by the Russian president.
Based on this text posted on the website of official judicial decisions, “Ms. Cambb Alexandra Tara, born on February 26, 1964,” is now a Russian.
According to US media, Tara Reed changed her name in 1998 to Alexandra MacChemb, to protect her to be protected by her ex -husband, who accused him of domestic violence.
In early 2020, he said that Joe Biden, the then Democratic candidate for the presidency, had sexually abused her in a Congress corridor in 1993, at a time when he was a senator and she worked in his office.
The charge, although Biden categorically denied her, caused difficulties in his election campaign against then -outgoing President Donald Trump, who had also been accused of sexual assault, harassment or rape by many women.
Tara Reed’s statements found inconsistencies. Among other things, no trace of the complaint was found, which he said he had done in Congress at that time.
In May 2023, Tara Reed told the Russian agency Sputnik that she would ask to receive a Russian passport and settle Russia because she was afraid of her safety.
In mid -July 2024 he announced that he had returned to the US to file a lawsuit against Biden for a “sexual assault”, a few days before the former president puts an end to his election campaign.
