Clams to Bulhão Pato: a national classic

The first Portuguese entrance arises in 55th position: the clams to Bulhão Pato. According to Tasteatlas, the dish is named after the nineteenth -century poet Raimundo António de Bulhão Pato and combines clams with a sauce based on olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and fresh coriander. The site explains that the sauce can include white wine and that the recipe is usually served as entry, accompanied by bread apart.

Octopus to Lagareiro: Tradition and Flavor
