Lightwall Brasil, a construction company that uses modular panels to reduce the time needed in buildings, and was responsible for reforming the Santos Futebol Clube base training center, announced the entry of Neymar da Silva Santos, father of player Neymar Jr., as new partner of the company.
The announcement happens at the same time as the company, founded in Recife, Pernambuco, opens a new factory in Brusque, Santa Catarina. The unit, which has approximately 5,000 m² of built area, has the capacity to produce more than 1.5 million m² of panels, enough volume to serve more than 20,000 housing units and is the result of an investment plan of R $ 200 million.
Industrial hub of the region, Brusque was chosen for gathering skilled labor and strategic location. “The new factory in Brusque consolidates the presence of industrialized construction in the south of the country, expands productive capacity and makes room for new contracts and exports. This advance can reduce costs and accelerate housing delivery,” says Marcus Fernando, CEO of Lightwall Brazil.

The manufacturing unit will initially compare 70 direct employees, with the possibility of expansion in the future. The new factory marks the beginning of an accelerated growth cycle for the company that states that its construction process is up to five times faster than conventional. Focusing on sustainability, the company also announced the conquest of the Green Seal, which recognizes Lightwall as the first constructive system in Brazil to receive ABNT approval. “We are very proud of this achievement, which reinforces our commitment to innovation and sustainability. In addition, we celebrate a strategic partnership with a local builder to build the country’s first walls with walls certified by the Green Seal,” says Marcus Fernando.
