The President (PT) warned of auxiliaries that the Federal Deputy (-SP) should be announced as new minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency in place of (PT). The decision will be formalized on the return of the president’s trip to the United States.
Lula informed his decision to ministers and leaders of the weekend, before embarking to the US, according to reports of allies of the petista.
At the request of Lula, Sergipe’s PT will strive in the campaign of Márcio Macêdo, who will leave the folder, as a deputy in next year’s elections. PT leader in the Senate, Rogério Carvalho, who is from Sergipe, would have made this commitment.

One of the petista’s movements, in this scenario, would be the consolidation of a left -wing historical basis to arrive safely at 2026.
The idea is also to gain greater combativity on social networks against the pocket artillery. The goal is for continuous growth in networks in an attempt to repeat 2022, when the president’s campaign gained greater visibility in the heat of the dispute.
For Boulos, this would be an opportunity to recompose his political capital, weakened after in the dispute for the City of São Paulo.

In the draft of ministerial reform, the name considered to the general secretary was that of the former president of the PT. But with his appointment to the political articulation, Lula began to consider Boulos for the vacancy.
In early May, Lula took another step in his ministerial reform with the purpose of replacing the Minister of Women, (PT), with also petista.
