The Federal Supreme Court Minister (), referred to the President of the Chamber of Deputies,, a complaint from the Attorney General’s Office () against the federal deputy (PL-SP).
The PGR accusation
PGR’s complaint, commanded by, accuses Eduardo Bolsonaro of the coercion crime in the course of the process. According to the prosecution, the deputy would have tried to interfere directly on the trial of his father, the former president, who was convicted by the Supreme Court for attempted.
The alleged interference would have occurred through threats of sanctions against the. Eduardo Bolsonaro, who resides in the US, would have acted with Donald Trump assistants to apply it to Brazil, including:
- A 50%“fare”;
- Revocation of US visas to STF ministers;
- Economic and social sanctions direct to Minister Alexandre de Moraes and his wife, based on the (American legislation that punishes human and corrupt violators).
Next steps of the process
Sending the complaint to the House of Representatives was a request from the PGR itself for the Legislative House to evaluate the case. From the notification, the defense of Eduardo Bolsonaro will have a period of 15 days to speak. As the deputy is in the United States, the notification may be made by public notice if there is difficulties in finding it.
Following the manifestation of the defense, the complaint will be tried in the STF plenary, which will decide whether or not to accept the accusation to transform Eduardo Bolsonaro into a defendant.
At the same time, the Ethics Council of the House of Representatives has already opened a lawsuit that can lead to the revocation of Eduardo Bolsonaro’s parliamentary mandate.
