As Micro and Small Enterprises (MPES) They follow as main responsible for the generation of vacancies in Brazil. According to a survey made by Sebraebased on the General Registry of Employees and Unemployed (CAGED), between January and July this year 853.8 thousand hires were made by small businesses. In July alone, the MPES represented 80% of formal admissions.
“Small businesses are the strength that moves Brazil. They are men and women who face a market that was not made for them. For the country, this represents more generation of jobs and more inclusion,” says Sebrae Décio Lima.

The number of workers on their own reached 25.9 million, a growth of 4.2% in one year. “Co.Fit started in February this year, but only opened its doors in September. I decided to undertake because I always loved serving people as a physiotherapist and also managing. Today I count on a team of a CLT employee and eight PJ employees,” he explains.
With only two weeks of operation, Co.Fit already has 10 paying customers and positive prospects for the first monthly closure. The beginning was not free of challenges.
“I had to adjust the team, exchange contracts and reorganize functions. It’s a daily challenge, because I still share between operational and management, but I have learned a lot from the support of Leadership Courses and the Empreender Program only Sebrae, who helped me maintain the emotional in the face of so many unexpected tasks,” he concludes.
