Arrested in operation of the PF, Antonio Carlos Camilo rejects nickname, says he did not participate in the INSS deviation scheme, and that his heritage is exclusive fruit of private activities
Arrested two weeks ago, Antonio Carlos Camilo Antunes, known as “Bald of the INSS”, denied on Thursday (25) connecting with the government or participation in fraud against retirees and pensioners. The testimony occurred in the (Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) that investigates the billionaire deviations at the National Institute of Social Security.
“I am Antonio Carlos Camilo Antunes, a born entrepreneur, a businessman who constituted, over 47 years of work, a trajectory marked by claw, resilience, determination of winning in life,” he said. According to Antunes, its heritage is the exclusive fruit of private activities. “I have no relationship with the government in any of its spheres. It was never the purpose of my business action to establish partnerships with the public sector. My activity has always been focused on the private sector,” he said.
The businessman also contested the nickname he earned since the beginning of the investigations. “I never went to this fictional character, the call, label created from a superficial reading of emails exchanged between two private entities,” he countered.
