Club paid R $ 12 million for the state title; pending millions in national and international debt

The finalized on Wednesday (24.Set.2025) the payment of the award for the title of the Paulista Championship. The board confirmed the Poder360 which paid the 3rd and last installment of the agreement, totaling about R $ 12 million distributed among athletes and employees of CT (Training Center) Joaquim Grava.

The value was divided into 3 installments, as previously agreed. The final payment was processed at Parque São Jorge, the club’s administrative headquarters. All professionals who participated in the state campaign received their respective quotas.

Debt with Depay

Despite the discharge of the collective prize, the striker still has to receive more than $ 17 million in gloves and contractual bonuses – including goals and number of matches. This week, the board and the athlete reached an agreement on the form of payment, considered a step towards reducing financial issues.

Processes at FIFA and CAS

In addition to the situation with Depay, Corinthians faces debts that have already generated convictions at FIFA and CAS (arbitral cut of sport). Among the cases are:

  • Santos Laguna (Mexico): R $ 40 million – Hiring Felix Torres;
  • Matías Rojas (Argentina): R $ 45 million – non -compliance contractual;
  • Workshops (Argentina): R $ 29.4 million – Purchase of Rodrigo Garro;
  • Philadelphia Union (EUA): R $ 8 million – hiring by José Martínez;
  • Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine): R $ 6.7 million – Loan of midfielder Maycon.

The board seeks agreements to avoid transferban (prohibition to record new players) and other punishments.
