Known for turning extreme cleaning videos into a phenomenon on social networks, the model and influencer Ellen Milgrau32, now takes the project to television. This Thursday (25), she debuts “Mission cleaning”No channel Discovery Home & Health and in the streaming service HBO Max.

“I would never imagine that such a large channel could come to me. It’s an amazing Brazilian production that had not yet explored this look directly linked to health,” she says, in an exclusive interview with CNN.

In “Mission Faxina”, Ellen Milgrau says he seeks to mix dense stories of people living in, with a touch of good humor and lightness.

“These are already very dense stories and a heavy job. We need to be in a good, lively energy of renewal. So we bring humor to shield and be able to turn the experience into something lighter for everyone,” he explains.

In addition to Ellen, the program has the help of other friends of the influencer, who already participated in her videos on social networks: Jady Carvalho, Nicoli Clavero and Rodrigo Hayek.

Ellen Milgrau accumulates more than three million followers on social networks and began about five years ago.

The program marks an important transition to Ellen, which started with voluntary actions and home videos. Now, with a great team and professional support, she ensures that the experience is completely different: “Before we had no time, food or structure. Now we have all this, besides psychological and legal follow -up for participants. It’s another level.”

Cleaning as care for mental health

Ellen also opened the heart about the importance of self -care to deal with such intense realities. Diagnosed with depression for years, the influencer has been undergoing psychological and psychiatric follow -up. “I know how far I can enter without it affects or compromises my work. But I think my diagnosis helps me, because I can put myself in place of these people and offer affection and welcome through cleaning,” he says.

“It is not a cleaning that will change one’s whole life, but it is a little door of hope. Many of them tell me after they never let the situation again repeat themselves,” he adds.

Among the episodes, Ellen reveals that one of the most thrilled her involved a primary school teacher. “I put myself in place, I wondered if it was my teacher. It’s impossible not to get emotional,” he recalls. Another case that marked was that of a house that, throughout the recording, revealed to have several floors taken by the trash. “It was physically one of the most challenging, seemed endless, they were floors of garbage,” he says.

The central message of the “mission cleaning” is that of welcoming and light to people who suffer from depression and need help. A dirty house can carry many more internal problems in those who live on it than it seems. “I want those who watch understand that it is not laziness, that it is not a lack of will. Each person carries a pain. And also that they are not ashamed to ask for help, because no one can alone,” says Ellen.

“People have no idea what to expect. It will thrill a lot and, at the same time, make room for reflection and empathy,” concludes the influencer.

“Mission cleaning” debuts with two episodes, starting at 7:55 pm. From Thursday, HBO Max and Discovery Home & Health feature an episode a week. In all, it will be ten, each with a different story.
