Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) decided on Thursday (25) to determine the unlocking of the social networks of the federal deputy (PL-SP). The parliamentarian is arrested in Italy, where he awaits the end of the extradition process requested by Brazil.
In determining the unlocking, Moraes understood that the measure is no longer necessary because the criminal case against the parliamentarian has already been closed. The minister also set a daily fine of $ 20,000 in case of reiteration in the publication of posts with misinformation, hate speech and against democracy. The release applies to the social networks of the goal, Telegram, X, Linkedin, Tik Tok, Getter and Youtube.
In July this year, Zambelli was arrested in Rome, the capital of Italy, where he tried to escape the fulfillment of an arrest warrant issued by the minister. According to the investigations, Zambelli was the intellectual author of the invasion to issue a false arrest term against Alexandre de Moraes. According to investigations, the hacking was performed by Walter Delgatti, who was also convicted and confirmed that he had done the work at the behest of the parliamentarian.
After the escape to the Brazilian government requested the extradition of the deputy to Brazil. Carla Zambelli’s extradition request was made official on June 11 by the STF. Then the request was sent by Itamaraty to the Italian government. In the House, Zambelli is the target of a process of canceling the mandate. Yesterday, she gave testimony, for video conferencing, to the Constitution, Justice and Citizenship Commission (CCJ) and denied participation in the violation of the electronic system of the National Council of Justice (CNJ).
