US President Donald Trump presented a 21-point peace plan for the Middle East and the Gaza band, at a meeting with the leaders of Muslim countries, confirmed previous reports on Wednesday President Steve Witkoff. At the same time, he stressed that he expected a “confident breakthrough” in the coming days, TASR reports according to Reuters report.

On Tuesday, the head of the White House met with the leaders and representatives of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia and Pakistan to negotiate a nearly two -year war in the Gaza Between Israel and the Palestinian militant Hamas movement. The meeting took place in New York alongside the UN General Assembly.
“We have led a very productive meeting. We introduced what we call Trump’s 21-point peace plan for the Middle East and the Gaza band. I think it takes into account the concerns of Israel and the concerns of all neighbors in the region,” Witkoff said at the annual summit organized by Concordia. The governments said on Tuesday that their leaders “repeated their commitment to cooperate with President Trump and emphasized the importance of his management at the end of the war,” writes AFP.
“We are optimistic and I would even say that we are convinced that in the coming days we will be able to announce a certain breakthrough,” evaluated by an American envoy. Reuters recalled the upcoming meeting of Trump with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, scheduled for Monday.
Netanyahu stressed on Wednesday that Israel does not bind the recognition of the Palestinian state to which countries such as Australia, Britain, Canada and France approached. “The shameful surrender of some leaders before Palestinian terror is not binding for Israel. There will be no Palestinian state,” the Prime Minister said according to AFP.
