The White House presented an unusual news on the wall of presidential fame on Wednesday. Where before was the portrait of Joe Biden, now the image of an automatic pen, alluding to the appeal that the former president made several times during his term.
A video released online shows the usual sequence of photographs of US presidents and, upon arriving at the Biden frame instead of his photo, appears the device represented to write the signature.
This automatic pen, scheduled to reproduce signatures, was repeatedly used by Biden to validate official documents, something that earned him harsh criticism from Donald Trump. The Republican even claimed that Biden was unaware of what he signed and that, therefore, many of the formal acts, including perdons, should not be considered legitimate.

Thus, the replacement of the portrait with a pen is nonetheless interpreted as a kind of satire with the democrat’s style of government.
