During a statement to CPMI (Mixed Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) of the INSS (National Institute of Social Security), businessman Antonio Carlos Camilo Antunes vehemently denied being the “Bald of the INSS”, a character who gained notoriety during investigations into fraud at the institute.
Antunes, who is appointed as an articulator of fraudulent deviations, stated that the nickname “Bald of the INSS” is a fictional creation. According to him, this narrative would have been elaborated by the media and society to believe in a fantasy.
According to the businessman, the story would have emerged from a “superficial reading of emails exchanged between two private entities.” Antunes emphasized that he never assumed this role ,.
The case gained national repercussion after investigations point out allegedly. The identification of the so-called “Bald of the INSS” became one of the central points of investigations into the alleged fraudulent schemes at the institution.
