Blinding in the Hacide Case: Police have accused two people and one company of misuse of Eurofunds

Police have accused two people and one company in connection with the unauthorized drawing of funds from the Eurofunds in the case known as the “Hacide Case”. Skoda exceeded EUR 151,000. The accused is punishable by a term of imprisonment of two to six years in case of proven guilt. TASR informed the spokesman of the Presidium of the Police Force (PZ) Roman Hajek.

“The Office of Combating Organized Crime of the Presidium of PZ accused two natural persons and one legal person in connection with the unauthorized drawing of a non -repayable financial contribution from the Rural Development Program 2014-2020,” said the spokesman. According to the investigation, the investigation should have been caused by damage of more than EUR 151,000, which consists of sources of the European Agricultural Rural Development Fund and the state budget of the Slovak Republic.

The case concerns a project aimed at the development of rural tourism and agrotourism. “The accused is blamed for committing the crime of damaging the financial interests of the European Union, the crime of subsidized fraud and the crime of machinations in public procurement and public auction. All deeds were to be committed in the form of complicity,” approached the spokesman. He added that in the criminal case the regional prosecutor’s office in Bratislava.
