Friday’s morning fire of a passenger car was done without injuries in Skalica. The cause of the fire was determined as an electric short circuit on the vehicle. The estimated damage is approximately EUR 700. Informed about the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) in Trnava.
The vehicle reported a technical failure while driving, after which the driver recorded smoking from under the bonnet after the start. “At the time of the arrival of firefighters from Skalice, the vehicle was already in the full stage of burning. The driver was in a safe place, without injuries,” approached.
Intervening firefighters immediately approached the fire and at the same time cooled the adjacent building, which was in close proximity. “The fire caused not only damage to the vehicle, but also several windows of the building due to radiant heat,” added.
