We have the opinion of the Venice Commission and all experts. But what is a surprise and what regrets me even more is the falseness of deputies from the movement Slovakia. They jumped to Robert Fico (Smer-SD) on this boundless populism, on the amendment to the Constitution that hurts people”He said.
This means the end of any reflections on cooperation with the Movement of Slovakia. “The KDH was transparent. We talked to them about it. It was clear that this was their attitude. But how someone can betray like this and trample on language as colleagues from Slovakia,” he asked. He thinks that MPs from the Movement Slovakia cannot be believed.
Parliament on Friday approved the government amendment to the Constitution of the Slovak Republic. They anchor two sexes – a man and a woman. There will also be a guarantee of equality between men and women in remuneration for the work done. The Constitutional Act also regulates the adoption of children and the educational process.
Of the 99 deputies present, the proposal was supported by 90, they were seven, two did not vote, no one was staying. In addition to coalition, the amendment was supported by opposition deputies from the KDH club in addition to František Majerský and František Miklošek, who did not vote. Three deputies from the Club Slovakia, for people, Ú. Among them is Richard Vašečka, who announced it in advance, but also deputies Marek Krajčí and Rastislav Krátky. Ján Ferenčák (Voice-SD), who was not present, did not support the proposal from the coalition deputies.
