Before you get on baking, prepare the right form. Works well 25 × 30 cm sheet metal.
To prepare this recipe, you will need:
- 1 dynia hokkaido,
- 250 ml of rapeseed oil,
- 3 teaspoons of cinnamon,
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg,
- 2 teaspoon of turmeric,
- 2 pinches of pepper,
- 6 eggs,
- 300 g cukru,
- 460 g of wheat flour,
- 3 teaspoons of baking powder,
- 1 teaspoon of salt.
Prepare pumpkin purée. Cut it into quarters and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Put in the oven preheated to 200 ° C. Bake 30-40 minutes – until the pumpkin is tender. Separate the pulp from the skin and blend. Drain excess juice. Measure 500 g of flesh. Use the rest for another purpose.
Transfer the purée to a saucepan. Also pour the oil and add spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric and pepper. Boil. Cook for a few minutes. Set aside to cool.
Grate eggs with sugar, a light, fluffy mass. Combine with pumpkin purée and mix thoroughly.
Sift flour mixed with baking powder and salt to the mass. Mix with a spatula – only to combine the ingredients.
Transfer the mass to a 25×30 cm mold lined with baking paper. Align the dough surface.
Insert the dough into the oven preheated to 180 ° C. Bake for about an hour – to a dry stick. Take the baked dough out of the oven, and after 15 minutes – from the mold. Cool on a grid. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. You can also decorate with chopped nuts.
