Trump introduces duties for medicines, vehicles and furniture to support domestic production and national security.

US President Donald Trump announced new duties for medicines, trucks and furniture on Thursday. They should enter into force in October, TASR reports according to AFP report.

From October 1, “we will store 100 % duty on all branded or patented pharmaceutical products as long as the company does not build its pharmaceutical production plant in America,” Trump said on the Truth Social platform.
