The agents withdrew 91 million liters of diesel oil, with estimated value of R $ 290 million. The operation seized 115 tons of chemical compounds used as fuel additives from different continents.
Companies are investigated on suspicion of irregularities in importing and selling fuels, oil and derivatives. The action is the sequence of the Friday (19.Set), when 2 ships were retained in the river in a similar situation.
The Navy and the IRS keep monitoring with image records of all vessels. The seized products will undergo technical expertise for composition and characteristics analysis. Expert reports have not yet been disclosed.
