Blogger Paulo Figueiredo raised the tone in the internal debate of the right by stating that the diplomatic crisis between Brazil and the United States will only end with the approval of a broad, general and unrestricted amnesty for those involved in the coup plot.
In a publication on social networks, he mocked politicians who still believe in institutional negotiations, calling them “clueless.”
The statement was a response to Senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI), who was facing the 2026 elections.
