Brazilian science takes an important step to human health! Scientists have developed a new pill to prevent stroke and dementia. Research shows that, after use, there was a reduction in blood pressure and positive effects on cholesterol, which increases the prospects for large -scale prevention.

Polypill is a drug that brings together three substances in a single formulation, developed in the Promote study, conducted by a private hospital in Rio Grande do Sul in partnership with the Ministry of Health, through Proadi-SUS.

The research presented promising results in patients with low to moderate risk, which represent about 80% of cases of the disease.
