The governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite (PSD), underwent a medical procedure at the Vila Nova Star hospital in São Paulo, this Friday (26), to treat pain due to pain of pain associated with disc hernias.
He underwent a blocking procedure in the cervical and lumbar spine, performed by the Dr. Francisco Sampaio neurosurgeon, with clinical camp of doctor Dr. Ludhmila Hajjar.
“The option for Sao Paulo is due to the fact that Dr. Ludhmila Hajjar accompanies the governor for a long time, getting to know her clinical history in detail and perform her professional activity in this hospital,” said a note published on social networks of milk.
Also according to the statement, the chief executive gaucho is in good condition, with good clinical evolution and will follow outpatient follow-up.
This morning, Leite participated in the closing of the Leaders Meeting, promoted by Comunitas, in São Paulo. Then he went to Buenos Aires, where he will launch campaign to attract Argentine tourists to Rio Grande do Sul during the International Tourism Fair.
The governor will be back in Porto Alegre This Monday (29).
