Pezeshkian stated that despite the previous threats, Iran will not respond to the treaty of nuclear non-proliferation
Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, classified the reimposition of sanctions from the United Nations (UN) about his nuclear program as “unjust, illegitimate and illegal” on Friday, after the UN Security Council rejecting a last hour effort from China and Russia to add them. The criticism happens on the eve of the deadline for the so -called snapback of sanctions to come into force.
Pezeshkian stated that despite the previous threats, Iran will not respond by removing the treaty of nuclear non-proliferation, potentially following the North Korea, which abandoned the treaty in 2003 and then built atomic weapons.
