But one thing seems clear: there are already channels of communication between the Brazilian and American governments that do not go through the extremists of and Paulo Figueiredo in the White House.
How did this loophole come about? In recent months, people linked to the Brazilian government and entrepreneurs from various sectors have worked to open it.
But another thing may also have happened: Trump may have realized that Eduardo and Figueiredo’s class lied to him.
After all, if the story told by the pockets were true, the tariff would have effects exactly opposite effects to those who have produced so far.
The American president seems to have been convinced, at some point, that Brazil was a barrel of gunpowder about to explode, that the Brazilian masses were willing to take weapons because they believed in Jair’s innocence. Trump’s initial movements indicated this: he thought he only needed to scratch a match to trigger a blow to Brazil that put extremist power completely loyal to the White House.
The influence of the scammers was clear, for example, in the choice of Brazilian authorities sanctioned by the White House. A target of the last round of sanctions, former Agu José Levi was accused by Paulo Figueiredo, in a video of November 2022, of exerting influence so that the then commander of the Southern Military Command, General Valério Stumpf Trindade, did not adapt to the coup.
However, the narrative Bolsonaro/Figueiredo did not resist well to confront the facts.
Contrary to those promised by the extremists, Lula only got along and Jair only screwed after the tariff.
Lula climbed the polls, won the streets with the Brazilian flag, was successful in the UN, resumed with new impetus commercial negotiation with the European Union and rested, it is not known if the wave Tarcisio is definitely known.
Jair gained a lawsuit for justice, an anklet, the indelible fame of gringo dog, a conviction to prison, the fault for imploding the Brazilian right a year before the election and the likely obligation to support an indefinite disney leaning.
Anyway, even if it is true that Trump discovered Eduardo and Figueiredo’s pick, it is early to say that the problems of the White House with Brazilian democracy were solved.
After all, Trump’s advisers who believed in Eduardo and Figueiredo may think that insisting on the scholarship narrative is better than admitting they were deceived. This can even happen in the case of the head of the State Department, Marco Rubio, who seemed contradicted when Trump praised Lula in the UN.
And the opening of negotiations does not mean that they will be easy. Commercial guidelines are legitimate, but other discussions, such as network regulation, can be difficult. The defense of democracy, of course, follows non -negotiable.
Anyway, even if Trump has understood that he received false information from Eduardo and Figueiredo, he may not have regretted sponsoring a blow in Brazil. Perhaps it has just regretted sponsoring failed scammers and cascate.
