United States President Donald Trump said on Friday, who believes an agreement to end the war in Gaza was reached after recent dialogues between Israel and the Arab countries.
“I think we have a deal,” Trump told journalists at the White House. “It seems that we have an agreement on Gaza, I think it’s an agreement that will allow you to recover hostages, it will be an agreement that will end the war,” the US president said.
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told other world leaders on Friday that his nation “needs to finish work” against the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza, in a speech at the UN General Assembly.

“Western leaders may have gone to pressure,” he said. “And I guarantee one thing: Israel won’t do it.”
Netanyahu’s speech began after dozens of delegates from various nations came out of the hall, including the Brazilian delegation.
Responding to the recent decisions of the countries to recognize the Palestinian state, Netanyahu said: “Your shameful decision will encourage terrorism against Jews and innocent people everywhere.”

The American delegation, which supported Netanyahu in his campaign against Hamas, remained at the scene. The few world powers present, United States and the United Kingdom, have not sent their most graduated employees or even their UN ambassador to their section. Instead, she was filled with more junior and low -level diplomats.
Netanyahu faces international isolation, accusations of war crimes and growing pressure to end a conflict he continues to aggravate.
He said special measures were taken in an attempt to contact the Israeli hostages that are still detained in Gaza. He spoke in Hebrew at one point and read the names of the 20 who are still believed to be alive.

Hamas responded to the speech with a statement accusing Netanyahu of giving false justifications to continue the war.
“If he was really concerned about his prisoners, he would have interrupted his brutal bombing, his genocidal massacres and the destruction of the city of Gaza,” Hamas said in a statement published on his site. “Instead, he lies and continues to put his lives at risk.”

Although more than 150 countries already recognize a Palestinian state, the United States does not do so, vehement supports Israel. But Trump signaled on Thursday that there are boundaries, telling reporters in Washington that he would not allow Israel to attach to the busy Somain.
Israel has not announced such a measure, but several important members of the Netanyahu government have defended the action. Authorities recently approved a controversial settlement project that would effectively divide the West Bank into two parts, a measure that, according to critics, could ruin the chances of a Palestinian state.
Israel conquered the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip in the 1967 Middle East War, withdrawing from Gaza in 2005. Palestinians want the three territories to form the state they want, part of a “two-state solution” to which Netanyahu vehemently opposes. He states that the creation of a Palestinian state would reward Hamas.

In his speech, Netanyahu insisted that Israel is fighting radical Islam in the name of all nations. “You know deep down,” he said, “that Israel is fighting his fight.”
