According to the Republican, she is “a threat to American national security, especially considering contracts between Microsoft and the country’s government
US President Donald Trump said Microsoft was due to dismiss the company’s global affairs president, Lisa Monaco in a social truth publication on Friday. Monaco has been a senior national security advisor under the government of former president Democrat Barack Obama and an Assistant Attorney General in the administration of Joe Biden.
“Monaco was surprisingly hired as president of global affairs at Microsoft, in a very senior role with access to highly confidential information. The fact that Monaco has this type of access is unacceptable and cannot continue like this,” he wrote in the post.
According to the Republican, it is “a threat to national security”, especially considering contracts between Microsoft and the country’s government. “In my opinion, Microsoft should immediately terminate Lisa Monaco’s employment contract,” he added.
