Underground gas escape in Snina: evacuated dozens of people!

For an underground gas escape, they had to evacuate dozens of people from an apartment building on Palárikova Street in Snina. Operational officer of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Corps in Prešov informed that the event reported them shortly before 14.00.

Operational officer said the apartment building, near which the gas was felt was not connected to the gas at all And it contained only gas bombs for stoves. The SPP technician found that it is an underground gas leak.

“The fire brigade from Snina from the adjacent apartment building evacuated approximately 30 to 35 people. The summoned technician SPP has closed the circuit and is working to eliminate the failure,” He stated the operations officer, saying that the event did not claim injuries.
