Update
Several people were injured in a shooting in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan. At least one person died and nine were injured, according to police.
The shooter has been shot down and the church is currently on fire, according to local authorities.
Authorities claim that the shooter came in with his vehicle in front of the church during a great religious service and began to fire. The agents killed the shooter.
The suspect is a 40 -year -old man in the city of Burton, Michigan.
“We believe we will find more victims as soon as the place is safe,” Grand Blanc police chief William Renye admitted.
Police say the shooter intentionally began a fire in the church, which became a large fire. Agents believe they will find more victims when safe to enter the building.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area as emergency response efforts continue.
Grand Blanc is a Flint suburb, Michigan.
