Barcelona won an important victory on Sunday (28), turning on Real Sociedad 2-1 at Estadi Olimpic, and taking the Laliga leadership. The goals of the Catalan team were scored by Jules Koundé and Robert Lewandowski, after the visitors open the scoring with Álvaro Odriozola.

With the result, Hansi Flick’s men reached 19 points in seven games (six wins), surpassing the point. Real Sociedad remains with only five points, accumulating its fourth defeat in the championship.

Even with 87% ball possession in the first half, Barça left behind. On 30 minutes, Ander Barrenetxea left Koundé behind and crossed to Odriozola, former Real Madrid, who finished accurately inside the area.

The answer came before the break: Rashford took a corner kick and Koundé appeared well to draw a head.

In the second stage, Lamine Yamal’s entrance was decisive. The 18 -year -old, who was returning from injury, made a beautiful play on the right and crossed to Lewandowski, who headed in the corner, turning the game on 58 minutes. The Polish still hit the post shortly after, as well as Kubo to visitors at the end of the match.

“It was a team victory. We worked hard and deserved,” said Flick, who now directs the focus to the duel against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday (25) by the Champions League. On Sunday (29), Barça faces Sevilla for Laliga.
