Igor Coelho is the co -founder and CEO of one of Brazil’s largest media hubs: the Flow Group. Now he leads a business that transcended what was initially created as podcast and became a reference in the production of digital content in Brazil. In the latest episode of the podcast From scratch to the top, Presented by Mariana Amaro, Igor told in detail how this construction was, the ups and downs of the journey and the challenges of driving the company in the face of great crises.

In an interview he recalled the largest crisis faced by the company in February 2022. At the time, Bruno Aib, an influencer known as Monarchk and one of the founders of Flow and partner of Igor, spoke about the possibility of creating a Nazi party in Brazil.

The comment, which generated national repercussion, put the project continuity in check and resulted in a 97% drop in the company’s revenues and the departure of Monark from society.

Overcoming the most critical phase, Flow entered a new cycle. Igor came to see the group as a digital content hub, not just as an interview podcast. Today, the strategy is to expand the network of programs, diversify formats and add other creators to the existing structure. This view reflects the company’s maturation and the understanding that the future goes through collaboration and expansion.

In his words, the current challenge is to balance the essence that made the flow born with the professionalization needed to support growth. It is necessary to maintain the authenticity and freedom that have gained the audience, while establishing a solid basis for management and planning.
