The FPF (Paulista Football Federation) released a video against parents’ misbehavior during matches of the base categories in the state of São Paulo. The film is part of the campaign “–Room + Football”, released by the entity last year.

The federation made several posts with excerpts of the play on its social networks. In them, there are reports of children athletes on the subject.

“It’s not nice to curse a child. I was sad. I even cried,” says one of them.

Others say, among other things, that what they hear from the stands harm them psychologically during the games and report the offenses already heard.

In another part of the filming-in full on the YouTube channel of Paulistan-a child wakes up on an excited game day for the dispute and, when calling parents to go to the stadium, listening to them that they would not go to that day because they were in punishment.

It is a reference to the federation’s decision to close the gates for departures from the under-11 and under-12 categories that took place at the end of August and early September. The attitude, says the entity, was taken because of parents’ misbehavior during the games.

According to the Federation, 144 matches of both categories were played without public, and the educational decision complied with a recommendation of the TJD-SP (São Paulo Sports Court).

Parents and fans were allowed to return to the matches on September 14.
